It is time for Nokia X The once called the Big Daddy of Mobile World – Nokia, is now striving really hard to maintain its place in market. The sale of Nokia Phones fell badly when Samsung, LG and Apple had overtaken it by launching their tech savvy smart phones in market. Since last one year, Nokia is aggressively launching its smart phones namely Nokia Asha, Nokia Lumia series, etc… in order to gain the positioning in market. Recently, Nokia has announced and launched its new offering in the mobile phone category and has named it as Nokia X. Nokia X was launched in February, 2014. It has been positioned in the mid-tier segment. With respect to the design and appeal of Nokia X, the expectations of high end users will immediately dip down. It will fail to catch the attention of people using Samsung, Apple, Blackberry, etc… The dimension of Nokia X is 115.5 x 63 x 10.4 mm and weighs 128.7 grams. With 480 x 800 pixels LCD screen, the 4 inches smart phone promises to give great picture clarity. The smart phone is touch screen. The display screen looks very similar to the Nokia Lumia screen. Nokia Lumia is Windows based, yet Nokia X matches with it despite of using Android. The special feature which Nokia X provides is that it allows the user to access the mostly used apps quickly by tapping or scrolling it from left to right and vice versa. The operating System of Nokia X is Android OS 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.  It has a chip set of Qualcomm MSM8225 Snapdragon S4 Play. It is equipped with Dual Core 1 GHz Cortex and Adreno 203. With respect to other features, it is almost similar to its previous offerings. It has messaging services, radio, FM, GPS and JAVA. Nokia X is available in yellow, bright red, cyan, bright green, white and black colors. Hence, there is a wide range of colors to choose from. The phone has a 3.15 MP camera with 2048×1536 pixels. The user can shoot images and record video as well. The dual sim facility gives an ease in carrying both the Sims in one phone. With respect to connectivity, Nokia X can be connected via Bluetooth, Wi-FI, GPS, GPRS, EDGE, WLAN and USB. This allows the user to have multiple connecting ways. The storage allows stacking 32GB of data. There is internal memory storage of 4GB and 512 MB RAM. Nokia X ensures the user to be socially active. Hence he or she can access social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Bing, Google Plus, etc… and share live feeds at any moment anywhere. The Battery supports a talk time of 10 to 13 hours (depending upon the usage). The Li-ion 1500 mAh battery allows the user to enjoy calling, listening music, buffering, etc sufficiently.
