Apple’s Siri and Microsoft’s Cortana, do come in handy when we’re lost in an unfamiliar neighborhood or want to find a coffee shop or restaurant nearby, but the digital assistants built into your smartphone may fall short when a health crisis hits.   For example, if you tell Google Now, Microsoft's Cortana, or Apple's Siri that you were raped, feel suicidal, or that you're depressed or being abused, the responses are not always reliable or helpful, according to a new study in JAMA Internal Medicine.   This test was done by several Researchers from Stanford and the University of California San Francisco on 68 smartphones by seven different manufacturers.
