Google Translate is a free multilingual statistical machine translation service that is provided by Google to translate text, speech, images, or real-time video from one language into another. It offers a web interface for PC’s and mobile interfaces for Android and iOS, and an API that developers can use to build browser extensions, applications and other software. Google Translate is one of the best features in Goggle and probably one of the primary reasons for its astounding success. It has definitely come a long way, as the service which began with support for just 2 languages ten years ago, and now supports 103 languages and is used today by hundreds of millions of people worldwide every day.Another interesting fact is that over 500 million people use Google Translate, and the most common translations which are used by them are between English and Spanish, Arabic,Russian, Portuguese and Indonesian. All-in-all, Google translates an astounding 100 billion words on a normal day.And when it comes to languages there is indeed no other country that comes to mind other than India.
