Maruti holds 6 spots among top ten best sellers FY16

Maruti Suzuki India is the Indian subcontinents largest carmaker, and it seems to still have a strong hold when it comes to sales. It has a tightened grip in the best selling cars list with six of its cars featuring among the top ten for the year 2015-16. Korean car maker Hyundai stands second with two of its cars featuring the list. Mahindra and Honda follow it. Maruti had five models among the top selling cars list in the previous year and this year it has risen pushing down the Hyundai Eon. Additionally, the volume share accounts to 73 per cent of the cars sold in the year 2015-16. This means the sales has risen by 5% when compared with last year.
